Coach Cryer

As founding Director of Champion Sports Performance, Coach Cryer has
successfully implemented programs for numerous collegiate and scholastic athletes
in all sports.  His unique concept of athletic performance training and experience,
combined with his commitment to athletic excellence and his passion, makes
Coach Cryer one of the top sports performance trainers in the nation.  

While attending Grambling State University (GSU) Coach Cryer lettered in football
for Legendary Coach Eddie Robinson Sr.  Coach Cryer was named Co-Captain along
with being named Defensive MVP, and 1st team All Conference.  Coach Cryer went
on to play in the Canadian Football League for the B.C. Lions and the Winnipeg
Bluebommers, as well as the Arena Football league.  

Coach Cryer began his coaching career as Defensive Coordinator and
Strengthening/Conditioning Coach for Lawless High School, Nichols High School and
O.P. Walker Sr. High School in New Orleans, LA.  As head
Strengthening/Conditioning Coach, Coach Cryer helped guide O.P. Walker to the
Quarter Finals in the 2004 State Playoffs.  Coach Cryer also volunteered as a coach
at Bridge City Correctional Center for Youth, along with D & R Sports Foundation
with basketball camps for underprivileged kids.
